The Guest Flight Companion shows your live position on a hand-illustrated, offline map of Kenya
during your flight, with tappable landmarks and wildlife to discover along the way.
Getting started
- Open the app — it opens straight onto the map of Kenya.
- Allow location “While Using the App” when prompted, so the map can show where you are.
- Pan and zoom the map; tap an animal or landmark to read about it.
- No signal? That’s fine — the app is built to work fully offline, including in Airplane Mode.
- Want a preview before you fly? Tap Demo flight to watch a simulated flight
across Kenya.
Frequently asked
- Does it work without internet? Yes. The map and all content are built
into the app; it needs no connection and runs in Airplane Mode.
- Why does it ask for my location? Only to show your position on the map,
on your device. Your location is never uploaded or shared — see our
Privacy Policy.
- My position isn’t showing. Make sure Location is enabled for the app in
Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services. In a cabin, a fix can take a moment or be
briefly unavailable; the map still works, and you can use Demo flight in the meantime.
- Is there an Android version? Not yet — the app runs on iPhone and iPad
for now.
